Greetings, from, The Francis A. Schaeffer Institute of Church Leadership Development.

We are conducting some new research on church trends as compared to what Dr. Schaeffer wrote in his book " True Spirituality."

This may only take a few minutes and provide some valuable insights for us and be helpful to you as well.

(To make it as easy as possible just reply back with your answers….)

How many members do you have?

Are you a pastor or church leader?

What percentage of your people are in small groups?

What percentage of your people are in Bible Studies?

What percentage of your church budget goes to missions and outreach?

On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being best:

Is the centrality of Christ visible by your people's general attitude and behavior to one another in and outside of church?

Is the centrality of Christ visible by your preaching and general teaching in your church?

Is the Fruit of the Spirit visible by your people's general attitude and behavior to visitors?

Is Gossip a problem (1, huge problem 5, not at all)?

How important is the solid uncompromising preaching of God's Word?

How central is Christ's life and death in your churches teachings?

How important is discipleship in your churches activities and programs?

How important is discipleship in your churches leadership thinking?

How content is your (you as pastor or church leader) pastor being the pastor?

How hospitable is your church in general?

How important is prayer in your churches activities and programs?

Is your church healthy?

What is more important to you, 1. Your church to be growing closer to God and losing numbers? or 2. Your church to be growing numerically but not so much closer to God?

If you have the time, can you give us a sentence or two: What can be done in your opinion to grow your church closer to God?

If you have the time, can you give us a sentence or two: What can be done in your opinion to grow your numerically?

Please be honest and this will be confidential!

P.S. we do not have a record of your church info or email, our contact with you is purely serendipitous from an algorithmic google search…

I think the church needs to show every member how to read and study the Bible for their own personal growth. Life change happens when we learn what god says in his word and apply it to our lives.

Better preaching and teaching.
